1. Who We Are
This Privacy Notice applies, as relevant, to:
LG Realm Corporate Advisory Sdn. Bhd.
Malaysia
LG Realm Corporate Advisory Pte. Ltd.
Singapore
Together, these entities are referred to in this Notice as “LGR”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
Depending on the nature of your interaction or engagement, the relevant LGR entity may collect and process your personal data in connection with the services it provides or the business relationship concerned.
We seek to handle personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and applicable amendments, regulations and guidelines, and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, where applicable.
2. Personal Data We May Collect
The personal data we collect depends on how you interact with LGR and the services involved.
This may include your name, identification details, nationality, residential or business address, telephone number, email address, job title and other contact information.
Where relevant to an engagement, we may also collect information concerning directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, nominees, employees, family members, business associates or other individuals connected with a company or transaction.
We may process identification documents, company information, financial information, accounting records, tax information, bank or payment information, payroll information, ownership and control information, transaction records, source-of-funds or related compliance information and documents required for customer due diligence.
When you use our website, we may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referral information and cookie or similar technology data.
We may also retain correspondence, enquiries, meeting information and other information that you voluntarily provide to us.
3. How We Collect Personal Data
We may collect personal data directly from you when you contact us, submit an online form, communicate through WhatsApp or email, provide documents, attend a meeting, request a quotation or engage our services.
We may also receive information from companies that you represent, directors, shareholders, employees, professional advisers, business partners, public registers, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, authorised representatives or other legitimate sources relevant to the work being performed.
Where you provide personal data concerning another person, you should ensure that you are authorised to provide that information to us and, where required, that the individual has been appropriately informed.
4. Why We Process Personal Data
We may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data to respond to enquiries; understand and assess prospective engagements; perform customer due diligence, identity verification, conflict checks and other onboarding procedures; provide company incorporation, corporate secretarial, accounting, tax, financial reporting, audit-support, corporate advisory and related services; prepare and submit documents to authorities; maintain statutory or compliance records; communicate with clients and relevant parties; issue quotations, invoices and payment requests; administer engagements and client relationships; maintain security and prevent fraud or misuse; comply with professional, regulatory, legal, AML/CFT and other obligations; operate and improve our website and business systems; and for other purposes that are reasonably related to the circumstances in which the information was provided.
Where required, we will obtain consent or otherwise process personal data in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
5. Regulatory and Professional Compliance
As a provider of corporate and professional services, LGR may be required to obtain and retain information beyond that normally collected through an ordinary commercial website.
This can include identification documents, beneficial ownership information, information concerning directors and shareholders, business activities, transaction information and other information necessary for customer due diligence, regulatory compliance, professional requirements, statutory filings, tax matters or anti-money-laundering and counter-financing-of-terrorism controls.
In some circumstances, applicable law or regulatory requirements may require us to collect, retain, disclose or otherwise process information regardless of whether a separate consent is obtained.
6. Who We May Disclose Personal Data To
Where reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, personal data may be disclosed to companies within LGR; governmental, regulatory or statutory authorities; company registries and tax authorities; banks and financial institutions; auditors, tax advisers, lawyers and other professional advisers; technology, cloud, hosting, communications and document-management providers; business partners or service providers assisting with the engagement; and other persons authorised by you or permitted or required by law.
Examples may include SSM, LHDN and other Malaysian authorities where relevant to Malaysian matters, and ACRA, IRAS and other Singapore authorities where relevant to Singapore matters.
We do not disclose personal data to third parties merely for their unrelated use.
7. Malaysia–Singapore and Other Cross-Border Transfers
Because LGR operates in Malaysia and Singapore and may use technology or professional service providers operating in other jurisdictions, personal data may in appropriate circumstances be transferred, accessed or processed outside the jurisdiction in which it was originally collected.
This may include transfers between our Malaysian and Singapore operations or to cloud, technology or professional service providers.
Where applicable data-protection law imposes requirements on an overseas transfer, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer is made in accordance with those requirements and that appropriate protection is maintained.
Both Malaysia's current framework and Singapore's PDPA impose requirements concerning transfers of personal data outside the relevant jurisdiction. Singapore's PDPA specifically requires overseas transfers to comply with prescribed protection requirements. PDP
8. Cookies and Website Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality or that help us understand website usage and improve the user experience.
Where required, optional cookies will be used in accordance with the choices made through the website's cookie-consent mechanism.
Further information on the types of cookies used, their purposes and how you can manage them is available in our Cookie Policy.
9. Marketing Communications
Where permitted by applicable law, we may use contact details to provide information about LGR services, regulatory developments, insights, events or other information that may be relevant to you.
You may ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided, where available, or by contacting us.
Service-related, regulatory or administrative communications concerning an existing engagement may continue where necessary even if you choose not to receive marketing communications.
10. Security of Personal Data
We take reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or other similar risks.
These measures may include access controls, account and device security, controlled document access, system security, backup procedures and internal processes appropriate to the nature of the information being handled.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess and address the incident and make notifications where required by applicable law.
11. Retention of Personal Data
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for legitimate legal, regulatory, professional or business purposes.
Different records may therefore be retained for different periods.
Client and compliance records may need to be retained after an engagement ends where required by company, tax, accounting, corporate-service-provider, AML/CFT, professional or other applicable requirements.
When personal data is no longer reasonably required, we may securely delete, destroy, anonymise or otherwise cease retaining it, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights concerning your personal data.
These may include requesting access to personal data held about you, requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdrawing consent where processing depends on consent, objecting to or limiting certain processing where applicable, opting out of direct marketing, requesting data portability where applicable under the relevant law, or raising a question or complaint about the way your personal data has been handled.
These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, verification requirements and circumstances in which LGR is required or permitted to continue retaining or processing information.
A request may be made using the contact details below.
13. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media platforms or external services.
LGR does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. When you leave our website or interact directly with another platform, the relevant third party's privacy terms and practices may apply.
You should review their privacy information where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, systems or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The latest version will be published on this website and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
We encourage users to review the Notice periodically where appropriate.
